Our mission is to create a collaborative community that ensures all students achieve at high levels and graduate prepared to excel in a global society.
All students will graduate from high school prepared for college and careers, read to excel in a global society. In order to achieve this, we will foster rich and diverse learning experiences that challenge and inspire, a student-centered school, a culture of caring and mutual respect that supports life-long learning, collaborative family partnerships, and collaborative community partnerships.

Kentucky American Water/FCPS Regional Science Fair-Glendover Winners
Approximately 700 Fayette County public, private and home-school students in grades four through 12 competed in the 33rd Annual Kentucky American Water Science Fair coordinated by Fayette County Public Schools on Saturday, Feb. 11, at Bryan Station High School in Lexington. Glendover is proud to announce the following winners:

Engineering Girl Day
This one-time event on Friday, February 24th, 2017 from 11:00am – 2:30pm is hosted by the College of Engineering and the Society of Women Engineers. This event is geared toward high-achieving prospective students who are interested in learning more about engineering at UK. Attendees will receive a presentation about the COE to learn more about our majors, scholarships, co-ops & internships and much more. You will enjoy lunch alongside current engineering students while interacting with some of our female engineering faculty during a panel Q&A session. For more information, contact Mrs. McWhorter.
E-Day -UK- Lexington + Paducah Campus
Engineers Day, or E-Day, is a celebration of everything engineering has to offer. From building bridges to discovering new medications to writing the software that powers our cell phones, engineers and computer scientists do the things that make our 21st-century world work.
This year’s E-Day celebration at the University of Kentucky in Lexington is on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. EST and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. CST in Paducah. E-Day comes at the end of Engineers Week, an annual event sponsored by a coalition of more than 100 professional societies, major corporations and government agencies dedicated to promoting math and science literacy and ensuring a diverse and well-educated future engineering workforce. Dream Out Loud Challenge
The Dream Out Loud Challenge sponsored by the Kentucky Educational Savings Plan Trust is a creative contest that gives parents of Kentucky studentin in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 6 a chance to win a $1,000 college savings account and $500 for their school. Click here for more information.
The Kid’s Corner Café
Located at St. Luke United Methodist Church; Corner of Alumni and Perimeter Dr.
Every Tuesday that Fayette County Schools are in session from 3:30 to 5:30 pm.
School age children grades K – 12 are invited for a free nutritious dinner, games,
and homework help; Dinner served at 5:00 pm.
Extra Credit Youth Tutoring
Just a heads up that Believing In Forever Inc.'s Extra Credit Youth Tutoring Sessions are every Saturday from 10 am -1130 am at the Plantory on 501 W. 6th Street, Suite 250! They will provide FREE breakfast, school supplies (as needed), and tutoring for all school aged children! They will also have tutors available to help your children with any academic challenges they may be having! It’s also a great quite space for studying!

The PTA gives a shout out to Ms. Boatwright's kindergarten class for 81% joining the PTA! And an extra kudos goes out to our kindergarten families during our August membership drive. 66% of you joined! We have just passed the 300 member mark and are excited about what is to come.
